Hey guys!

I keep coming back and checking on the site to see if anyone's posted. Well, I thought today, why not make a thread that challenges all you fellow lurkers to post on your way out, kinda a log of how many times us old peeps come back and peek around. It'd be cool, and you could even tell us about your day!

Oh, and my day had it's ups and downs. See, I go to Chinese class from 12 to 1, then Physiological Psyc from 6 til 7:30 (pm), then I run my fraternity's meeting at 9 pm. I'm on campus all day, but not busy all day. I have a lot of free time, so I also went to a homeless shelter and helped a gent practice for his GED. How cool is that?!

You've seen the topic, so you should post.
Now.
Seriously, don't leave the page until you've hit reply and typed in your color code with some witty-ness in between.

OK, I'm game.
I'm feeling much better this week. I had a dose of the flu last week. It pretty much knocked me on my butt. I slept Monday and Tuesday but finally got something to eat last Wednesday. It sucked.
Anyway, that's my installment.
Logan's feeling better.

Yay me!

Whoo! It was so nice to see that the most revent post was no longer made on February 22.

As for my day, it was dang cold here. -40 this morning on the centigrade scale. Happily, the busses didn't run this morning, so the largest class of students I had today was 6 and the smallest was 1. It was nice to get some work done. And on an up note, we should be above 0 by the end of the week.

And Jen, that's why I don't live up north. I live where it's a nice, humid 80 degrees at this time of year (ugh, spring my butt). Why can't we all live in a place that's somewhere in the middle of that?? Would be wonderful, if you ask me.

Well, my day was quite boring. Stayed home and watched movies, since it's spring break, so I have no classes! Woohoo!! Lovin' it! Except when I get bored. Which was the case today. So around 7 (pm), I went to see my private voice teacher sing at a church. Went with a couple of friends, so it was entertaining. Then had a margarita and a chocolate cake (perfect combo, I know tongue) afterwards with said friends. Went home, realized that my trip to the coast on Thursday is ruined because of chilly, rainy weather on that day. Then proceeded to talk to a guy whom I am very fond of, who lives a thousand miles away. Brightened up my day, none the less.

Yay for wasting a bunch of space on an otherwise boring day!!

Haha, hope everyone's doing well. smiley

ps - I'm glad you're feeling better Logan cheesy

pps - I just started rereading the series for the first time in a couple of years. Yay! I'm almost halfway through book 2! Takes me back to when I first started reading. Number two was the first one I ever read (yeah, I know, started out of order, but it got me into it, so who cares!).

.....

Sorry for wasting more space with senseless dribble smiley

I kinda thought senseless dribble was the point of this. Kinda. Thanks for the well wishes.

And speaking of rereading things. I've been on a big rereading kick lately. We have a used book store that does the buy, sell or trade thing. Well the familiy and I took a bunch of stuff there and had so much credit I was able to pick up all the old stuff from when I was in high school. The Incarnations of Imortality series, Xanth novels. I picked up 22 of them and it didn't cost me anything. The adept series. So far I've started and finished 13 books since the new year started.
This place is great.

We are down to only about $18 credit but when used books only cost a buck fifty or so that'll be ok for a while.

I got a new job! I get to sell some of the best knives in the world - ones you can't even find in stores. Pretty exclusive stuff.

And I got fired a couple weeks ago from my old job. Walmart sucks!
Not to mention, I'd love nothing more than to graduate in May. Minor degrees are for wusses. *exhaused*

Nothing is mindless dribble! Thanks for posting so far!

eh, why not :]

I just got back from another boring day of school...nothing much is going on right now except for a lot of homework from AP English and AP Art (surprisingly enough). The homework pile is increasing every single day, so hopefully that'll die down after the ap tests. I'm just trying to survive junior year right now. Hope you guys are well, haven't heard from any of you in a long time :]

So, someone tell me... Why is this site so empty if there are movies to be made? There should be plenty to talk about! Makes me sad sad

It's a vicious circle. No one is here posting so if someone shows up there is nothing going on so they don't post and so on and so on.

That and I see that a few of us older HP fans are still around but the ones who were in their early teens when this site started up seem to have figured out that life means you're busy and you just lose interest as they grow up. When I first got to this site I was a 30 something year old. I haven't out grown the site but a lot of 15 year olds that are now getting out of college and getting jobs have.

Enough psycho bable...

This past weekend I sent my son off to Orlando for a week. It's spring break here in Nashville. The house is quite. Too quite... smiley

Edit: I know that getting older thing doesn't apply to everyone but we have over 14000 members and about 10 of us post.

I got on here to check...something. Oh, a music thread. Or rather, to find a music thread that I had posted in AGES ago. I'm trying to make a mix CD for a friend and he hates my music taste. >.< *kicks him*

Moving on...

My day has been alright. School, sickness, coughing, and more sickness. Not as bad as it was a few days ago, but it's still there. It gets really bad at night right before I fall asleep and it's a little bad in the morning. The weather over here is NICE outside, but it's rather hot in the house. -.-

I think I'm done.

*goes off to look for that music thread now*

So question for anyone that might have an idea....

What happened to Gypsy?! Our beloved founder?! I haven't seen anything from her in a looooong time.

Well anyway, it's kinda nice to see some of the oldies posting again. I miss the old days every now and then...

It's weird to think that I've been a member here for six years. Gah! I was 15 when I first joined! shocked

I missed you all.

Chestbangs Logan ( since he is all better now )

Buttslaps Kima ( Coz we both like it )

High Fives, hugs and kisses to all the other folks around.

This is like re registering.

Jen where on earth do you live ?? -40 in March.

And Songbird .. remember that thread about the jankiest thing you own, and you fell for my car ( with all its special features ). Just yesterday my other car had a couple of minor problems ( One rear light and sunroof) and the guy next to me goes " Oh My God, your car in is such awful condition." And I'm all smiles thinking " If only you knew" I was remembering my old car and then that thread popped up to mind.

Its good to see all of you again. Speaking of the day so far , nothing much has happened since its only 2 pm here and I'm whiling away the hours in the office. Have a calculus exam in the evening so I'm super nervous.

We had a old book sale yesterday though. Touche to Logan. You might have found many interesting books at my house for just 80 cents.

Keep lurking guys, Keep lurking.
